Hi 1dirtydog - Model GDT665SMNES has Active Flood Protect. This feature consist of a sensor that recognizes and prevents potential overflow situations from occurring. This sensor is located under the filter inside the tub, replacing the mechanical float. This type of protection would be extremely beneficial on new construction sites if supply lines have not been properly flushed.
