• I installed mine on the old Dish antenna mount on my roof. The sides that hold the antenna's have a good rubber seal, and also comes with a good seal to connect your cabling to. I've only had it up about a month, but have had no issues with rain seepage into the antenna and it works great for me.

• yes it is waterproof. openings have rubber seals.

• I keep the TV and the Antenna under cover when not in use. I really don't know if it will be waterproof if it left out in the weather.
