Q: QuestionAre these pedestals the right dimensions for GFW550SSNWW washer and matching dryer?

• A:Answer Hello. Thank you for checking about this riser GFR0728SNWW. It is not a pedestal. This riser can be used with this washer and dryer and the riser is 7" in height x 28 inches wide x 28 7/16 inches deep. Hope this helps. Geoff@GEA

Q: QuestionI just ordered side by side ge dryer gft114essmww and washer gfw148ssmww. I understand pedestals would add only about an inch. Are they necessary, e.g. for stability etc?

Q: QuestionI just purchased a GFW850spn front load washer with the 7 inch riser. can you tell me how deep the riser is?? I know it is 28 inches wide and 7 inches tall but what about the depth ( from to back)
