Q: QuestionCan this control fan speed and turn the lights on and off? My fan has lights built in.

- A:Answer The switch can do one or the other but not both. You would need two switches, one to control the fan and a second to control the light. I would use a light dimmer for the light it is less expensive and better suited for the task.

Q: QuestionWill this switch work with regular ceiling fan(non smart)?

- A:Answer We bought new fans at Lowes and then just rewired our house to accommodate the new switch. The fan is a normal fan not smart.
