“If I have an outlet created from a pre existing lightswitch and replace the switch with this new z wave switch will it give constant power to use the outlet when i turn the lights off?”

• Depends on how you wire the outlet to the switch. If you put the "line power" for the outlet on the "load" side of the switch, the oulet will turn on and off with the switch. If you put the "line power" for the outlet on the secondary lug of the line power on the switch, the outlet will have constant power. Always consult a licensed electrician.

• If the outlet is connected to the same circuit, then no, but the outlet will work if it is a separate circuit in the same electrical box
