You have to buy the gear VR for the note 4 but that's nearly a year old now it's still fantastic but I'd think about updating your phone.

Guess not , the back of the box only shows, galaxy note 5 galaxy, s6 edge +,s6,s6 edge.

You can buy the innovator edition (not this one), but the Note 4 had performance problems. Better off buying one when you get a new Galaxy phone.

No, this GearVR cannot be used with the Note 4. You need the GearVR Innovator Edition made for the Note 4. This device is slightly heavier, does not have a built in fan to help with lense fog, and retailed for $200 (they were designed to be used for Developers). I've heard the price for the Innovator Edition has been lowered to $100 to be more inline with the new GearVR release though, so it would pay to check Samsung's website.
