Why are these refurbished ? null

To me they seemed like an open box item. No visible wear and they had all the packaging in tact. Sealed headphone adapters as well.

I would guess that they are at minimum, a returned, open box item. The set I purchased are in excellent condition with no visible wear. They seem brand new. For $60 less, I am happy with my refurbished headphones.
