Yes. The pitch changes depending on whether it's on or off, but in both cases it is easily heard from 5-10 feet away. Very annoying.

YES! The noise is loud. Its like a cricket is in my house. I have sensitive hearing. Need quiet to sleep. This is ridiculous!

I hear a weird sound its almost like some scratching sound, or ill say that sounds like the old computers writing on a hard drive, I want to think that is the camera writing on my sd card im not for sure, but it is a little scary I admit it.

I have 3 of them and have never heard that sound. I love them! I’ve only had them for 3 weeks. Hope it doesn’t become an issue.

Yes, I hear it but it’s very faint. Only when I put my ear next to it. At a distance I don’t hear it at all.

Could it be related to the memory card ? Like a reset, depending on the loop of the card ? (i have the small one from dollar store)
I jump everytime, its really loud !!! loll As suggested here, i will try to put motion on off
