• Directions say to vacuum inside filter monthly and replace every 6 months. I love mine as it is quiet, easy to clean and change filter.

• You have to clean with a vacuum periodically. It lasts about a year before the cleaner says to replace.

• The filter will need to be replaced every 6 months or once the Hepa filter becomes gray or darker in color. You can vacuum the filter once a month or as needed.
