• It is free and easy to switch out of S mode, but switching out of S mode is one-way. If you make the switch, you won't be able to go back to Windows 10 in S mode. I hope this helps!

• Yes, you can get it out of S-mode. The only caveat would be that you cannot go back to S-mode when you want it
