Affordable Laptop with FHD, 8GB RAM, and 2MP Cam
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for an affordable Windows laptop under $400 for my mom to use for her occasional real estate work, and after a very careful research, I decided on GeoBook 240. As my mother is older, I wanted her to have a larger screen. This 14-inch screen was large enough, yet still easy enough to carry around unlike the 15-inch models that weigh 5 pounds or more, which acts more as a desktop replacement vs a portable laptop. The cherry on top was that GeoBook 240 is Full HD, which made graphics appear clearer and brighter than non-FHD models. The second factor that stood out was the fact that this has an 8GB RAM vs 4GB RAM, which is a rarity for devices in my budget range. Lastly, in the age of Zoom meetings and webinars, a web cam is a necessity. GeoBook 240 came with a 2MP webcam with 1080p vs others that were more expensive with webcam resolution of 720p. At $399.99, the specs of GeoBook 240 is unbeatable. Also, when I was helping my mother set up the computer, I noticed that the device had a premium feel to it, which was easier to grip, and the keyboard was nicer than I expected. If you are looking for a laptop to do more than emails and browsing the internet without breaking the bank, this is your best bet.

Do not buy this hot garbage...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered this as a cheap laptop to run a CNC machine. First laptop arrived and when booting it went into boot loop. Zero recovery options without default admin. I took this 35 minutes to my local BestBuy for confirmation even though I have been in IT for 20 years and seen plenty of boot loops... They confirmed, refunded me my money. I ordered another laptop 2 weeks later. I mean, what are the chances they both have the same issue?? Boot loop, again... No escape. No options for recovery. So second one is going on another 35 min journey to BB. This is ridiculous. I know I am not the first to have this issue so the comments must be hidden about how garbage this device is... Trust your guy, move on...

15 laptops
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.* I could write 15 different reviews because we bought 15 these laptops for charity donation. But, I will just settle with one review for those who may be care. Our church IT found 2 out of 15 laptops DOA, 2 out of 15 laptops had bad screen and 1 out of 15 has dead SSD. The build quality is not exactly top notch, but the spec is adequate for most if not all high-school students. ( no gaming ) Because we have limited budget + we don't want to buy "used" or "refurbished" for these children, therefore, this is the cheapest laptop we can find with 8GB Ram ( soldered or not-replaceable ) 128GB SATA SSD ( replaceable ) and Pentinum Silver N5030 about the speed benchmark of 7th Gen i3-7100u. Screen-bleed is expected but surprising very sharp in full HD resolution even compare to Surface Laptop or Mac Air. Webcam is better than most of HP new laptop also. That being said, if you okay with refurbished or open-box item, you may be able to spend little more on name brand.

Broke after a week.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just wanna start by saying this is just my experience with this product. I bought this super excited for a good deal. Some things bothered me, the trackpad would get stuck when I went to click on things and certain parts of the screen looked a little strange, but those are minor issues I didn’t really care about. A week and a half after buying it, it made weird noises then about an hour later the screen started flashing crazy colors and then refused to turn on. Just returned it.

Great value and buy!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this snappy, fast computer and love it, especially for the price point. The keypad is responsive and works as expected. Computer has excellent audio. The display is vibrant, and has great full HD resolution. It’s great gaming for mid-tier games. Light and portable to take with my back and forth to work, and on trips. I’m super happy with this purchase.
