Hi Coop, the warranty automatically starts from the date of purchase and is for 12 months. You do not need to register the device for warranty, just keep your proof of purchase. I hope this helps!

Please try again later.After talking to several customer service agents, they said that Bestbuy would not honor the manufacturer warranty because it did not list it on the website. If you try to contact the geobook help center, they will only be able to help with software issues. My advice is to purchase a different laptop with a warranty because Bestbuy will not cover it and mine stopped charging after the first use and kept powering off with a bad charging connection but Bestbuy would not help with this since it was after the 15 day return period.
