“I JUST received my brand new Geobook 240. I plugged it in and let it charge. A few hours later I opened it, turned it on only to have it immediately go to the Recovery. That's all it will do. What do I do to fix this? I'm not a techie.”

This happened to mine to. It won't even load off a USB to reinstall using a Windows Media Creation Tool. I'm returning mine tomorrow, but will probably be charged some restocking fee for a bum product. I advise you return yours.

That happened to me. Just reinstalled windows from recovery, and it's working greatly.
