- Answer This unit does not have a UV light for sanitizing so it iwll not kill mold spores. The filter may capture the mold spores, however it will not stop them from potentially reproducing on the filter.

- Answer It’s super quiet as long as the numbers are green, the fan speed will increase if the numbers go above 100 and it will get louder
