The Hepa filter and the carbon filter are combined to create one combination filter. You will only need to replace one filter cartridge every 6-8 months. You do have an option to purchase a 4-pack of carbon filters to replace as needed. Otherwise the carbon filter can be vacuumed off once a month or as needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the regular filter plus the carbon filter. At my understanding the carbon filter neutralizes odor. Which is awesome because where I live they have an untrained dog and this double filter purifier has helped with my room not smelling.
