QuestionDoes this air purifier require 2 different filters? Or are the add on filters a choice of the 2? What is the difference between the 2 filter?

- Answer The Hepa filter and the carbon filter are combined to create one combination filter. You will only need to replace one filter cartridge every 6-8 months. You do have an option to purchase a 4-pack of carbon filters to replace as needed. Otherwise the carbon filter can be vacuumed off once a month or as needed.

QuestionIs the red light suppose to stay on? What’s the difference between this one and model AC5000B. What filter do I buy to replace?

- Answer The power light will only be red if it is flashing red to indicate the filter needs to be replaced. If the power light is a solid red, that is an older model and that light is just indicating the unit is powered on.
