QuestionIs the power indicator light supposed to be green or red? I plugged mines in after purchase and immediately it was red. However, most pictures I saw had a green light.

- Answer Most of our other units offer the green light but this unit will always have a solid red light. It will never flash or change color.

- Answer The Hepa filter will need to be replaced every 6-8 months and vacuumed off once a month.

- Answer The UV light is secured and enclosed inside the unit. If you accidently open the back where the filter is, the UV light automatically turns off. Also, the outside shell of the unit is opaque, the UV rays are pretty well controlled. I've used this unit for 5 months now, and it works pretty well. no UV rays out, clean air all the time.

- Answer As long as the unit is run 24/7 with the UV-C light, viruses, bacteria and mold spores will be captured in the filter and mutated by the UV-C light.

- Answer Our units are not tested with the MERV rating as that typically pertains to HVAC systems. Our filters will capture down to .3 microns in size.
