Is this unit loud? null

If you’re referring to while you sleep or work and having it in the background, #2 setting isn’t bad. The value of having the option of UV light is why I bought it. Am extremely pleased with the purchase.

Not load compared to other filters

The unit will run rather quiet on the lower fan speeds. At the highest setting it will put out 60DB.
