“Has anyone found a good stable over clock to run this laptop at? Also like do y’all know how to update the bios on this specific laptop as i am confused on that as well”

hi there! unfortunately most laptops this one included cannot be overclocked due to the multiplier being locked while you can use software to permanently boost the clocks to a higher speed it isnt really a permanent overclock solution and isnt recommended as it can significantly degrade the lifespan of the processors to upgrade the bios visit the gigabyte webpage for the laptop model and download the zipped folder for fb10 and flash it after reading the instructions ITS VERY IMPORTANT YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY OR YOU COULD DAMAGE YOUR DEVICE!!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not overclocked this one, but it is highly upgradeable. It has extra slots for M.2 drives, and only one of the RAM slots is used. I upgraded to 24gb of RAM but 32 is possible. Likely that will play a bigger role than OC, since it is still a laptop and still subject to thermal throttling.
