That depends on your battery profile. Personally, I do not play games while using battery because it is either I run out of battery quickly in exchange for performance or the laptop will be a little sluggish but the battery could last longer than 2 hours. You could remove the battery and plug the adapter to the wall though, so your battery's lifespan will be prolonged, and at the same time, the performance is still there.
