• Hi Asker, Most recent motherboards will account for this and put a minimum gap of 3 slots. Note that most current generation graphics cards no longer support SLI/NVLink for gaming purposes. Hope this helps! - John

• This will likely depend on your motherboard, on mine it does block the other PCIe x16 slot.

• Depends on your MOBO, My ASUS it does seem to block use of the 2nd PCIe slot.
