I would say yes. All you need is a HDMI and a USB on the projector. USB for power.

Although a setup with your projector may work, there may be some connectivity and quality issues such as low audio quality. Also, Chromecast supports "Screen Mirroring" on Android devices only. Make sure your Android device is running Android 6.0 or later, and is connected on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast. Screen mirroring is currently not supported on iOS devices.
