• Yes, you can use cast-enabled apps on your iOS devices running iOS 12.0 or later to stream to your TV with Chromecast. Please keep in mind, your TV needs to have an HDMI port for Chromecast to plug into.

• I have used it a few times (due to contention for access to the large TV) to cast from my iPod Touch to the shop TV. Works fine. I'm just too cheap to buy a second.
