Chromecast supports "Screen Mirroring" only on Android devices. Unfortunately, iOS devices don't support this feature. But, you can use all the cast-enabled apps on your iOS device to cast to your TV over Chromecast. Keep in mind that while Chromecast doesn't require any subscription to use, you will need to subscribe to the services of partnering apps such as YouTube TV, Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Brit Box, Prime Video, and many more to stream movies and other video contents.
