“Can two different phones/tablets be connected to the Chromecast with the google home app ?”

• You can connect multiple devices, for example if you connect your smart phone to it and your buddy tries to cast something you can as long as you are in the same wifi connection.

• Yes many devices can connect to it but only one can be connected to it at a time.

• Yes I believe so but once it’s set up you don’t really need to the use home app I only used that app for the initial setup &once that’s done any device on the WiFi network should be able to connect to it and stream to it

• The casting goes to your tv so you cannot have two devices connected at the same time.If you are asking to do two devices I believe the answer would be no
