Item transmits video and music to your tv by connected hdmi port. If your speaker is properly connected to your tv [via optical cable, rca, 3.5mm, or bluetooth if supported] , not something else, after installing the chrome cast, just navigate the sound settings on your tv. And do the proper forwarding. But your tv most be new enough to have this option. Some old models you can not manage these sound settings.
