A:AnswerIt's a receiver that plugs into the display's HDMI port. It's your phone or laptop that would transmit. It all works better when the transmitter (phone) and receiver (Chromecast dongle) are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi)
A:AnswerYes. Chromecast is a streaming device that uses cast-enabled video streaming apps that are on your phone/tablet and streams them on a bigger screen for a better experience. It needs to be connected to your TV's HDMI input and a stable internet connection. As long as all requirements are met, everything should work fine.

A:AnswerThe Chromecast is connected directly to your TV via HDMI and is connected via Wi-Fi to your smart devices like your phone or tablet. Its audio output would normally come from the TV's speakers. However if you have set your TV's audio output to an external speaker then audio should come out of that speaker. The Chromecast itself doesn't come with Bluetooth.

A:AnswerDepending on the device you are streaming the internet from to the TV. If per say the device was a computer you may need to download an application (example: VLC app) from the computer to use with the streaming service on the TV in this case a Chromecast.
