• No, this isn't an antenna. If you have an app that supports chromecast though that gets your local channels you could cast it with that. This device runs on your WIFI or ethernet and devices on the same network can play video to it. Supported apps are things like Netflix, Hulu and HBO Now. If you have a 4k TV that supports HDR I would recommend this chromecast. If your TV doesn't support HDR I would lean toward the regular one.
