Please try again later.If you are using internet to view the camera picture that you would need your cable modem and router to work to broadcast the picture to your phone or tablet remotely. So if your camera has no electrical power neither will your cable modem or router. So at this time, you cannot get the picture remotely anyways. So I don't know if this makes a big difference. The camera runs on a small electrical power unit that is plugged into the wall socket.
