QuestionHow much bandwidth is required?I live in a rural area and only get 2mbps. This is fine for Netflix HD and 3 or 4 devices, but will it support the camera at 780 p?

- Answer I'm not sure exactly how much bandwidth.. haven't checked yet, but it will definitely use a good chunk up. at 720, you may be ok... but if you have any other internet options.. .i'd try to upgrade first.

QuestionCan this camera be routed to a NAS hard drive instead of the Cloud?I am not interest in paying for cloud storage. I currently have a ip camera using the SD card and also a 1TB NAS drive in a secure location. I am trying to upgrade video quality with a new camera.

- Answer No. You can not route the feed to your phone, or other storage device. If you don't pay for the cloud recording storage, you only get a live feed. If a burglar finds and steals your camera and storage device, you effectively have no video evidence. So cloud storage isn't bad if you think about it. Altough having video of me running around my house shirtless, or worse, in the cloud can be troubling at first, you can program the camera to turn off when you get home or turn it off manually from the app on your phone.

- Answer If you don't subscribe, you're still able to check in live and get activity alerts, but you lose person alerts that tell you when someone's actually there, video history that lets you see what you missed and the ability to make and share clips.

QuestionI understand this has to be plugged into an outlet, but my question is what is to stop a thief from just unplugging it? I have several outdoor outlets, but not quite understanding if you have to plug it in, why doesn't the thief just unplug it?

- Answer Yes it ban be unplugged. Just like a thief could cover it up or take a hammer to it. But it will record and store the information off-site in the cloud so you can still see the video before the camera was disabled.
