Yes it ban be unplugged. Just like a thief could cover it up or take a hammer to it. But it will record and store the information off-site in the cloud so you can still see the video before the camera was disabled.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe you would be wise to drill a hole and run the power source inside. If outlet is directly below mounting, you can angle the camera to catch the complete area and it will video before being unplugged.
