Yes they work fine looking out a window. In some light conditions you may get a reflection. We have ours about a foot away from the window and at a slight angle to reduce reflections.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No this wont work well. The rotation isnt great and you will get glare reflection off the window obscuring your view depending on the time of day.
