The Nest Camera is not battery operated (or at least mine wasn't) it is plugged into an electrical outlet and actually has quite a long cord. You have many options for recording it whether you want it to record 24/7, schedule certain hours or days, only when you are away from home, when motion/noise is detected, etc. They were alot of them to choose from. It also had the option to auto zoom when it does sense movement so you could get a closer look at the movement.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine isn’t a battery it plugs in. The recording shows 24 hours there just is no activity but when there is you see what is happening. So I guess it is recording?? I guess I don’t really know for sure but it says detected activity there is no point when nothing is happening. I can say it is so sensitive that changes in sunlight from outside triggers an ‘event’ that sends a notice to my phone even in the basement!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not run on battery. You have to plug it into the wall to use it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am only aware of a 2-pack.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No batttery associated with this device. It only runs on a dedicated 110V power supply (aka plugged in only). It also runs 24/7 but only as a notification of previously set events unless you get the Nest Aware Subscription ($10 or $30/month) which will record up to 10 or 30 days of continuous video as long as the camera is left always on (not using Home/away assist).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
