Can I use it outdoors in the shade? null

I wouldn't use it outdoors because of the cord. There is an outdoor IQ version which is really good and meant to be outdoors. It would help if you put it under the eve to protect it from rain.

We recommend you to use Nest Cam IQ Indoor only indoor. Indoor Nest cameras are not designed to withstand outdoor conditions from durability and performance aspects.
