• No. Sorry the Nest Guard is required as a hub for all of the security sensors. So far we are very happy with the system.

• No, it will not, the sensor is based on connection to Nest Secure base and then communicates to the app

• Nest detect has to pair with nest secure. Once paired and setup with neat secure then you can receive notifications through nest app. Nest detect can not work in standalone mode without nest secure.

• No, this MUST be added on to a previous nest account with a nest secure already being maintained on said account.

• No, you have to use the Nest Secure with the sensors. The sensors only communicate with the Nest Secure Base and can't function as an independent item.
