What tools do you need to install? null

I think it was a phillips screw driver, needle nose pliers (to bend the wires correctly before putting under screw) and a drill if you need to drill a pilot hole for the screws. I did to keep the screw from possibly splintering the wood as I was close to the edge.

One flathead screwdriver of your old doorbell needs one, and one Phillips screwdriver for the new one. You may also need a drill.

Depends on preexisting doorbell. I had to use a drill and a screwdriver to drill new holes for the mounting screws.
