• They pushed an update to the thermostat so its in the settings under brightness

• You can't as of yet but Google has addressed this and is working on an update

• Hi AngelM, thank you for your inquiry. The Google Nest Learning Thermostat (4th Gen) features automatic brightness adjustment in response to changing light levels within a room. Currently, this feature cannot be adjusted manually.
