“When do you need to replace the batteries on the wired versions?”

• The battery just a backup, dont sweat about it too much...when its time to replace the battery, the app going to alert you ahead of time.

• The only time you have to replace the batteries is when your power goes out and the batteries run out from use.

• The batteries are just used as backup should the power be interrupted for any reason. You only need to replace them as they die. I haven't had mine long enough for that to be necessary just yet but, per the instructions, I will receive a notification when that is necessary.
