“I see that my electric company has a rebate on the nest e thermostat when it is purchased alone. Why is there no rebate available when the thermostat is purchased with the remote sensor as a package? Strange!”

Mine did not come with a rebate either; I had to go my utility website to apply.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When I used the PGE rebate page, it allowed any Nest thermostat and did not require me to search for a product with a sensor. Rebate is the same at $50 plus more if you agree to auto-power-shutdown during power outs.
