Q: QuestionI see that best buy lists this as integrated with a modem and router. But I am seeing mixed information online that it does not work as a modem router combo. Do I need to buy a modem in addition to this?

• A:Answer You only need to plug in one of the devices and it becomes your "base" station. The others will connect to it wirelessly to create your mesh - so no you do not need to have a wired uplink on each of them to have service across them / extend your network.
