Q: QuestionDoes connecting an unlocked version to AT&T or Version change the Pixel 10 Pro Fold to being locked to that carrier? Also, does a Best Buy gift card come with pre-ordering this phone?

• A:Answer No. Buying an unlocked phone does not lock your phone to that carrier. That's highly illegal as the carrier didn't sell you the phone on a subsidized plan. The only reason it would locked is if you opted not to pay full price up front and opted to pay for it over three years. In that case, yes the phone becomes carrier locked till paid off.
