A: These are new, unlocked. If it's used or pre-owned on bestbuy it will say so blatantly.

A: No. Buying an unlocked phone does not lock your phone to that carrier. That's highly illegal as the carrier didn't sell you the phone on a subsidized plan. The only reason it would locked is if you opted not to pay full price up front and opted to pay for it over three years. In that case, yes the phone becomes carrier locked till paid off.

Switching from Samsung Z Fold 6
Switched from the Z Fold 6. Love the feel, the screen & Magic Cue - it's already working for me. Be ready for this to feel a bit heavier than other phones. I'm getting used to the different menu options compared to Samsung. Wish it had more routines... Screen is amazingly bright and crisp. Sound quality on calls is definitely good enough...and just a bit lower than Samsung. Battery is excellent. Integration with Gemini is a major time saver. Switching phones only took a couple of minutes, too.

Great entry to foldables
Jumped from an iPhone 16 Pro over to this and Android 16 made it a breeze to transfer things over. It got all my iMessages, photos and videos along with data from other apps. It is compatible with all of my MagSafe accessories. Love the ability to turn the phone into a tablet at anytime. Very useful when doing long form reading while waiting. Also great when viewing videos. The only one complaint I have is that it is very expensive. Otherwise this is a great phone if you're looking to try out foldable phones.
