QuestionI need to buy this phone to replace a damaged phone on my current AT&T Plan. Does that count as activation? I try to add this phone but it says add a line. I just want to pay cash with insurance money to replace broken phone.

- Answer I bought mine deactivated and took it to an AT&T store to activate. They said if it's just a replacement all I needed to do was swap the SIM card and I'd be good to go.

- Answer Yes as long as you are not with Sprint. Sprint will give a seperate Sim but you will get the same number as long as you are upgrading.

- Answer The pixels that best buy sells are unlocked for any US carrier on GSM and CDMA (and some over seas ones), I just took mine to china, and while the Chinese govt blocks most google services, i popped in a china mobile sim and had service within 3 min. Also I have it on google fi in the states which uses us cellular.

- Answer The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will support DSDS (Dual SIM Dual Standby), but you cannot use both the physical SIM network and eSIM simultaneously. If your carrier supports eSIM, you can activate it with them.
