A:AnswerHi Pixel,
You do not lose anything significant with the unlocked version of the Pixel 8 Pro when using it on Verizon. The unlocked version supports all of the major 5G and LTE frequency bands used by Verizon, including mmWave. This means that you will be able to get good coverage and performance, including access to Verizon's fastest 5G speeds.
However, there are a few minor differences between the unlocked and carrier-locked versions of the Pixel 8 Pro. For example, the unlocked version may not come with pre-installed carrier apps, and you may need to contact Verizon manually to set up certain features, such as visual voicemail.
Overall, the unlocked version of the Pixel 8 Pro is a good choice for users like you or me who want the flexibility to switch carriers in the future. It also supports all of the major features that Verizon offers, including mmWave 5G.
I hope this info helps!
A:AnswerI can not see if others have replied to you- but I can state my experience. If you buy and have it shipped to you- you get the option of shipping your old phone back, and you can do this after making sure you indeed love the Pixel. To return your Pixel, you will be subject to a restocking fee however. I bought a phone two years ago and traded in a phone. That location was 90 miles away (they were the only store that had it stock). I knew almost immediately that I didn't like that phone. When I tried to call the store, I was forwarded to their call center. When I visited the store most local to me and explained the situation, they also could not contact that store- and further they told me the process of preparing your old phone you turned it wasn't a standard practice across stores. They told me the store could have already shipped out my phone (to wherever they ship these old phones), by the end of the day. It was a bad experience- except that I ended up just buying a whole other phone. But I wouldn't do that again, and don't suggest anyone physically hand in your phone in a trade unless you are 100% sure.
A:AnswerAccording to the Google Pixel warranty page, Google provides warranty, support, and parts for Pixel phones in the following countries and regions:
✓Australia
✓Austria
✓Belgium
✓Canada
✓Denmark
✓Finland
✓France
✓Germany
✓Greece
✓Hong Kong
✓Ireland
✓Italy
✓Japan
✓Korea
✓Luxembourg
✓Netherlands
✓New Zealand
✓Norway
✓Portugal
✓Singapore
✓Spain
✓Sweden
✓Switzerland
✓Taiwan
✓United Kingdom
✓United States
If you purchased your Pixel phone in a country or region where it is not sold, you may not be able to get warranty service or support.
And note that the Google warranty for Pixel phones is not the same in all supported countries. The warranty period and coverage may vary depending on the country where you purchased your phone.
For example, in the United States, the Google warranty for Pixel phones covers hardware defects for one year from the date of purchase. In Canada, the warranty period is also one year, but it also covers accidental damage to the screen one time.
It is also important to note that the Google warranty is only valid in the country where you purchased your phone. If you purchase your phone in a different country and then move to a country where the warranty is not valid, you will not be able to get warranty service or support.
I hope this information is helpful. ;)
A:AnswerHey Luke,
I just confirmed and the Straight Talk is eligible for the trade-in program at Best Buy. Best Buy accepts trade-ins from all major carriers, including Straight Talk. You can trade in your Straight Talk phone for a new phone from any carrier, including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint.
I hope this info helps!
A:AnswerHi Questionman,
The free Pixel Watch 2 offer is available to customers who pre-order the Pixel 8 Pro between October 4th and October 16th, 2023. It is not clear whether the offer will be available after the pre-order period ends.
I hope this info helps!
A:AnswerHi there,
No, you can choose the Google Pixel Buds Pro as your free item when you pre-order the Google Pixel 8 Pro. You do not have to choose the Pixel Watch 2.
Note that the watch only comes with the preorder of the Pro version of the phone and not with the regular Pixel.
I hope this info helps!
A:AnswerHi there,
Yes, the unlocked version of the Google Pixel 8 Pro will work on the T-Mobile network. Unlocked phones are not locked to any specific carrier, so you can use them with any carrier that supports their frequency bands.
I hope this info helps!
A:AnswerHi Jesuswarrior,
Yes, you can pre-order the Google Pixel 8 Pro in store at select retailers including Best Buy, or you can do it online of you prefer.

A:AnswerHi Bird,
The amount of credit you will receive for trading in your phone for the Pixel 8 Pro will vary depending on the condition and model of your phone. You can get an estimate of your trade-in value by using the Google Store trade-in estimator tool, but in general terms you can expect to see the following ranges:
Good condition: $350-$450
Excellent condition: $450-$550
Like new condition: $550-$650
It is important to note that these are just estimates. The actual trade-in value of your phone will be determined by Google or the retailer (Best Buy in this case) where you are trading it in.
I hope this info helps!
A:AnswerYes. I would not go with straight talk though, I would go with Patriot mobile. They let you choose the network to run off of, and if your network is not available at the time, your phone will connect to another network automatically to make sure you have service without being charged. By far the best company I've been with.
A:AnswerHi Josh,
Most likely they often don't have Pixel colors in stock because Google only produces a limited number of them or because demand they may simply be stocking the colors that are in highest demand from customers. I'm just speculating here. ;)
A:AnswerHi Brick,
To trade in your current T-Mobile phone for the Pixel 8 Pro at Best Buy and take advantage of the pre-order bonus item, you would follow these steps:
1. Go to the Best Buy website and check the trade-in value of your current phone. You can do this by entering the model number of your phone on the Best Buy trade-in estimator page.
2. Once you have your trade-in value, add the Pixel 8 Pro to your cart and proceed to checkout.
3. On the checkout page, select the trade-in option and enter the trade-in value of your current phone.
4. Complete the checkout process and pay for your new phone.
5. Best Buy will send you a trade-in kit with a prepaid shipping label.
6. Pack up your old phone in the trade-in kit and ship it back to Best Buy.
7. Once Best Buy receives your old phone and verifies its condition, they will apply the trade-in value to your purchase of the Pixel 8 Pro.
8. You will then receive your new Pixel 8 Pro, along with the pre-order bonus item.
Note: You may need to pay off any remaining balance on your current T-Mobile phone before you can trade it in. You can also check with T-Mobile to see if they have any specific trade-in requirements.
Here are some additional tips for trading in your phone:
*Make sure your phone is in good condition. Best Buy will inspect your phone for any cracks, dents, or other damage. If your phone is in poor condition, you may not receive the full trade-in value.
*Back up all of your data before you trade in your phone. Once you trade in your phone, all of your data will be erased.
*Remove your SIM card and memory card from your phone before you trade it in. You can keep these items for your new phone.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if you have any other questions. ;)
A:AnswerHi Al,
I don't think the color affects the trade in value as long as the specifications are the same. That's what I was told.
I hope this info helps!
