Hi there, According to my knowledge, Google has not announced any Pixel 8 Pro models with only 8GB of RAM. It is possible that Amazon has made a mistake, I'm looking in Amazon right now for this exact model but it shows it has 12GB of RAM, so maybe they already corrected the specifications. I hope this info helps!

To give you an example I previously owned - and still have - My Google Pixel 6 Pro. However, the version I own is an unlocked Verizon phone in obsidian with 256 GB internal storage. If I go anywhere else besides Verizon to look up this model, it basically doesn't exist in that specific storage category and I get strange trade-in evaluation numbers outside of the Google store or Verizon specifically. I can only assume that the Obsidian model did not come in a 256 GB unlocked version that was mass-produced by Google upon release and was specific to Verizon??? I'm guessing here but I don't feel I'm that far off because I've seen this happen many times before and it's not a mistake when it's intentional. Plus I am an OFFICIAL Certified Google Product Expert who passed & received Certification direct from Google for the Retail Product Training as required to be educated in their entire product line and offerings from the simplest of details you would find summarized in a search all the way through the studied application of the tech itself. My Pixel 8 Pro, I purchased from Best Buy after the pre -order launch event. I ordered in Obsidian and at the 564 GB internal storage level and it has 16 GB RAM. I hope this helps.
