• It's great for drawing, but Photoshop doesn't run on Chrome OS and this pen is for the Pixelbook and Pixel Slate, both of which run Chrome OS.

• I am not an illustrator by profession, but I enjoy drawing. The pen works beautifully with the tablet. Heavy and thick enough to feel substantial but not overly so. I use it in adobe sketch (check what apps you can get on OS chrome - while many Adobe programs and the like are available they may be limited in what they can do as they are streaming/web based programs. But I've read that many professionals use them). While I haven't used it in photoshop myself, it works well with every other application and I've seen reviews and videos that it is used. But if you Google the answer (no pun intended) you'll probably get a specific answer of what it can do in photoshop, and probably a tutorial.
