You need a TV with HDMI input.

The Chromecast requires an HDMI connection, so you would have to buy some type of adapter (RCA to HDMI), I assume.

You must have HDMI input in order to use it. The old style tube TVs are usually not equipped with HDMI and have no digital capacity.

It connects to an HDMI connections, so if your tube TV has it it will work.
