• This version of the WiFi extender doesn’t have the voice capabilities, so no worries there. Even if you got the newer one you can disable the voice assistant in the Home app. I think it’ll be great for what you want to use it for as you can even have it set a primary network that you connect to, and a guest network for all of your visitors.. you can monitor how many devices connect, set controls, etc.
