- Answer As long as you have an internet modem with Ethernet output, this can serve as your wifi router. Just plug one end of the Ethernet cable into your modem and the other end into the Google point’s “internet” port and voila! I have one Google point device hooked up to my spectrum modem and have had zero problems with it as my wifi router. No separate router required.

QuestionDo Google Nest AC2200 nodes perform ANY better than Google AC1200 nodes? As in speed or range? Can you confirm that they would they work together fine, basically interchangeable? (one just has a speaker, or is performance better?) G's my ISP so no modem.

- Answer Using a power monitor plus mine is Drawing 2-3 watts, 40-60 milliamps. The max output of the included USB C adapters is 5V@3A = 15W. Hope this helps.

- Answer You cannot connect an IPHONE to this router. The connection has to be by Ethernet cable.
