“I was debating between buying this camera and the GoPro - HERO HD Waterproof Action Camera. Can someone please explain to me the difference between the two? Trying to decide of I should spend the extra money for the HERO or if this camera is good enough.”

Sorry, but this is not a camera. This is only a case / housing for a GoPro camera. The camera is sold separately. In the product features, please read where it states "Compatible with GoPro HERO3, HERO3+, HERO4 Black and HERO4 Silver cameras. For use with your existing device." The key part being, your *existing* device.
